anyone seeing this with a retina mac? I can offer no help but share my experience. When creating plots in python directly, I've noticed that the PySide library (File > Preferences > Console > External modules > Qt-Python bindings library selection > PySide) will create beautiful full-resolution plots on the retina macbookpro. This probably won't help with ipython. I have also noticed a slight offset for warnings (as well as line numbers) in the left column. However this offset comes and goes - it is currently aligned.
