Hi Sébastien,

These are fantastic news!! Specially that you already have Windows packages! It's just great :-)

For you and us to share our Qt5 work, please open a pull request in the conda-recipes repository:

https://github.com/conda/conda-recipes

with your improvements to the qt5 and pyqt5 recipes, and ping me (@ccordoba12) and Mike Sarahan (@msarahan) when you've done it. I'm in charge of Qt on Linux and OSX, and Mike on Windows, in the Anaconda team :-)

Besides, I'm going to create a pull request right away in Spyder to start using your packages on Windows :-)

Cheers,
Carlos

Hi,

We have noticed that you started packaging Qt5 for Anaconda. To avoid duplicating work and potentially causing package conflicts, I'd like to let you know that we have made pretty good packages that we are using in our project, ARTIQ:

https://anaconda.org/m-labs/pyqt5
https://anaconda.org/m-labs/qt5

It would be nice if everyone could use the same Qt5 and PyQt5 packages. I have already contacted Continuum about this but they did not reply.

Sebastien
