Hi Carlos,

As I wrote, I had Python 2.7.8 and Spyder working fine, but then I upgraded
Python to 2.7.11 and Spyder stopped working.
I tried to reinstall (build) Spyder from the source, to no avail.

I have no idea what this error message means. I'm just reporting what
happened.

Thanks,

Fausto
