Dear Spyder users, I am running a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015), macOS Sierra 10.12. I have used in the past Python 2.7 + Spyder without any problem with OSX. I am running the latest Anaconda distribution.
1) Spyder 3 always eventually crashes, especially when switching windows.I have described the problem here <http://stackoverflow.com/questions/40047607/problems-with-spyder-3-in-macos-sierra>. The graphical interface is really grainy and low resolution for any backend I use. I don't have this problem with Spyder 2. 2) Spyder 2, ipython's console is slow, and unresponsive. 'Enter' won't execute lines and the fix of "Shift Enter" does work but very simple computations take seconds. Therefore I cannot use Spyder at all in my new system, and this is killing me.
