Great to know Moritz!! We put a lot of effort in 4.1.2 to fix that problem.

During coding, the whole IDE just freezes up, and I can only
resolve this through killing the python process. To narrow in on
the issue, I would like to be able to retrieve a crash log, but
when I restart spyder through the console it's as if nothing
