Thanks for your answers.
Of course I was following the webpage you posted there.

It seems that when asking to install the spyder-kernels library, it 
downloads the wrong version, not compatible with the current python version 
in that environment.
Is this something unusual?
Even asking for the right version (displayed in spyder console, not the 
latest 2.0 but giving these constraints: >=1.9 and <1.10) it says it is not 
compatible with your python version.
Sometimes it works with other python interpreters, sometimes not. Very 
annoying. Cannot work like this.

I am really losing a lot of time in trying to make spyder working with 
these spyder-kernels.
I really would like to avoid that.
