Paul, Then both the bank statement and the transaction register would need to have the same transposition error, no? Here's the source of the problem: The total Debits on the account page has an additional $18,000 when displayed on the Trial Balance report page. _Why_ the discrepancy exists I've no idea. Adding all the deposits to that account over the past two years I get the same total as displayed on the account transaction register. Does anyone know where the Trial Balance report generating function goes to get the debits for that account to display on the page?
