Looks like this new version of perl is not happy with SL code.
Can somone using Suse 11.3 confirm this issue?
Yes, I can confirm. This Perl version has warnings enabled by default.
It's possible to suppress them by changing
#!/usr/bin/perl to #!/usr/bin/perl -X
at the head of the frontend scripts in /usr/local/sql-ledger.
The same problem occurs with Strawberry Perl 5.12.0 on Windows.
