I am not sure I understand the question. 1) tax is based on an amount x 2) tax is a percentage y
In this case tax itself (outcome of y % * amount x) will automagically be an amount. Given this automagic relation between percentage and amount, I do not fully undewstand the business logic in Peachtree. If indeed that is the way they use it. Would rule them out for Dutch market for one thing. In Holland we are obliged to mention both the net amount, the tax percentage, the tax amount AND the total amount on any invoice. And our taxnumber as well, so that the IRS knows who to blame if anything is not like they want to see it BTW I Did not follow packages lately (happy with sql-ledger) but is Peachtree now Linux and Open Source as well?
