Writers Guild days... Maybe not. On to your question:

TABLE:   dbo.Album
albumid (int) identity (1,1) NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY
Albumname varchar 255
Companyid (int)    //  this is the link to the company table
Artistid (int)          // this is the link to the artist table
(other fields)

In the example you provided above; Companyid and Artistid are foreign
keys. That is to say; you are referencing the primary key of tables
dbo.COMPANY and dbo.ARTIST, within table dbo.Album -- to form a
relationship between the 3 tables. Since those keys are not native to
dbo.Album, they are considered foreign keys.
