Hey All

Can anyone tell me why, when I run the following query, it removes the
second backslash \ when ever a carriage return is the next character?

-- INSERT TEST DATA
INSERT INTO APSTest
                      (MyText)
VALUES     ('my test verbiage\\
and then some more verbiage\\ \\
some more yet\\ \\ \\
The end!')

-- QUERY TEST DATA OUTPUT
my test verbiage\and then some more verbiage\\ \some more yet\\ \\ \The end!

What is going on with the \ + carraige return that is throwing it off?
