local server to use as testing databases, the DTS doesn't copy the default
settings (I often use getdate() as default in fields like 'datecreated' and
set default values for bit fields) and doesn't copy the identity settings or
primary key settings. It's very tiresome (not to mention error prone since
it relies on my remembering) having to go through and set those manually,
table by table in the 27 databases I maintain.
I know how to set up a DTS job, but apparently I'm missing something. How
do I make sure all these other settings are copied too?
