Thanks Darren for reminding me that I was supposed to send an email to
this list. For those of you who can't view the proposal, it comes down
to improving tests and unifying the API, possibly by re-writing large
chunks, possibly just by re-factoring.
If the project does get funded, or if we decide to go ahead with it
anyway, we will solicit more explicit feedback from this list first.
