That is: I have disabled ALL protecting parameters in BitDefender to find the 
culprit module - without luck.

Try to change database name (extension).

For example:
mydb.sqlite
mydb.sdb
mydb.db3

I would use .sqlite extension and exclude that
files from antivirus check.
