maybe I sounded a little harsh in my last posting.

I didn't want to say the whole proposal is bad in itself. It certainly sounds interesting and for some applications it will be just the right thing to do. But I do think it would be a bad idea to incorporate all those changes into the mainstream SQLite3 distribution and I don't know whether the target audience of the proposal and of SQLite3 is identical.
