Extensions monitored by Windows Desktop Search are stored in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\RSSearch\ContentIndexCommon\Filters\Ext ension http://addins.msn.com/devguide.aspx I don't know what the default extension list is.
