No, not at all. Inside and outside this forum/list I've seen arguments about the proper pronunciation of different acronyms, and sometimes it has gotten pretty heated. I've got no problems with people asking the question, I just face palm when I see people take it to the next level of debate over something that really doesn't have an effect on anything. So long the idea is presented of what you're trying to communicate, I can't grasp at why people pull out their hair, want to start wars (Nuclear or flame) over how something.
