Well, I must admit I have stopped testing SQLObject with Python 2.2 because py.test had stopped working with 2.2. But I do regular testing with Python 2.3 - and SQLObject works. So I think there is a chance it works with 2.2. I know there is code in FormEncode that only works with 2.4, but I don't think it prevents SQLObject from working. I'll look into it again...
