I have to admit that I was a bit annoyed that my zombie "reply to" on this mailing list always ended up in the last poster's mailbox. But after reading the article posted here about munging considered harmful, I'm definitely on that side now. It can be seen more clearly when you think about it in these terms: which one is worse? To send a private message to an entire list, or to send a list message to a private mailbox? The second can be amended (the recipient was going to receive the message anyway). The first one can't.
