Hi mherger (et all),
I can't get 7.9 to run on 10.10.4. 7.7.5 was the last version that kinda
worked.
I read various threads. Changed permissions on the Logs folder and the
Squeeze folders within.
I ran: cd /Library/PreferencePanes/Squeezebox.prefPane/Contents/server/
./slimserver.pl which led me to believe Perl wasn't installed /
running. Tried installing that via Perlbrew and cpan.
Ran cd /Library/PreferencePanes/Squeezebox.prefPane/Contents/server/
./slimserver.pl again and I get this:
DBI connect('dbname=/cache.db','',...) failed: unable to open database

/Library/PreferencePanes/Squeezebox.prefPane/Contents/server/Slim/Utils/DbCache.pm

Delete the file /cache.db and start from scratch.
Unable to read/create /cache.db
