Another thougth if you use the controller as player . If it's on battery it will go to sleep mode , so you must handle the controller itself so that it wakes up , then it will reconnect ,,then you select tunes directly from the controller .
Note that playback via the controller is hardly expects to work as it is a beta feature never fully realised it has all kinds of issues . However for controlling other players it does not matter if the sleeping controller "drop off" for a while it will reconnect when you wake it up and continue to use it . So it's expected that the controllers are invisible while they sleep !
