Hmm. According to the other thread I linked above, the types.conf tells
how LMS interprets media formats. Apparently earlier the
application/octet-stream has defaulted to WMA audio. But the LMS 7.9.9
doesn't have application/octet-stream for any media type.

Since mysqueezebox.com's podcast app is giving error about "unable to
parse ASF audio stream" it suggests the mysqueezebox.com is parsing
application/octet-stream still as WMA audio (like LMS was earlier too).

I tried adding application/octet-stream to mp3 line in types.conf, and
the podcasts started working on my LMS.

Right it looks the workaround is to make my LMS to parse
application/octet-stream as mp3. But I wonder why doesn't LMS or
mysqueezebox.com parse media according to type told in the podcast XML
file? It says audio/mp3 there. Does the content-type of the HTTP
response override what's told in the podcast XML file?
