Don't give up!  Windows 10 can certainly work fine.  And the moral of
this thread, if there is one, is that it's the networking that's the
tricky bit: check your network connections before deducing the server is
the problem.

Have you made changes to the AV/Firewall on the PC?

Can you connect your server and one of the receivers both directly to
the router?  Or even directly to each other?
