There are a lot of 5.1 flac files aviable to with discrete multichannel . But as playback device none of the original squeezeboxes would do as they have no hdmi output only spdiff and toslink that do not support multichannel .
So something with 6 analog out or a hdmi out as player , but some modifications to the server is probably needed for it to scan and regognise these files and only play them on suitable players ?
