In the process I was pretty close to cleaning it all out and
re-installing. Assuming my media scan ran OK, the only thing I'd have
lost are the following, if I'm right:
- Server based Favorites
- SB/LMS Created playlists
- Player menu customizations etc.
1. Right/Wrong? Additional things lost on re-install?
- play counts
- all preferences (music folders, title formats, installed plugins...)
- ...there's certainly more
2. How can these be saved and restored across an installation?
Backup your prefs folder. You can find it's path in Settings/Information.
