Hi,

I have a Squeezebox Touch running the latests (afaik) firmware 7.8 and a
server running Logitech Media Server 7.9 (a nightly build, just a few
days old). The server is protected by a firewall. For LMS I opened the
ports 3483, 9000 and 9090. Everything works well and has been working
for quite a while. However, just this week I noticed that my server
logged (and blocked) two packages to the tcp ports 48796 and 48846. The
packages came from my Squeezebox Touch.

So, I wonder why my Squeezebox Touch tries to establish connections to
these ports? This wasn't the case before. I have to say though, that I
just upgraded from LMS 7.8 to 7.9 about two or three months ago and last
weekend I installed a newer nightly snapshot, again from the 7.9 branch.
So this might be related. Have there been any changes that influence the
connections and ports between the client and the server?

Thanks and regards,

Timo
