This is what I have done to solve my issue At first I did a rebuild of my network. Did a factory reset to the router. Did a complete setup in order to geting all devices to work in the network. No change at all, drop outs still there. So I downloaded a fresh copy of Ubuntu Gnome 16.04 and did a clean install on my computer. Notice that I had Ubuntu 16.04 before and has done this once before, an fresh installation with Ubuntu 16.04 with no effect on the drop outs.
The big difference this time after I done the setup of LMS (7.9.0-1462256937) was that the server prompted for an update of LMS, so I followed the steps and did an update to LMS 7.9.0 - 1463124735, a rescan of the library and started to play music. No drop outs at all. Sounds really nice (getting the feeling that it sounds better than 7.8). I can only guess, but I suppose that it was some trouble in how my installation of Ubuntu 16.04 handled the network just as DJanGo suspected. A big thank you to DjanGo for all help and other involved!!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ patrixen's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=64196 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105568 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
