I've always wished that there was a STOP button on the Default skin (web interface), but I just always use the "Clear Playlist" button on the lower right (the 'X') which does the same thing so not a big woop for me. Honestly, you start adding more buttons and the interface becomes a clunky mess. On the Controller, I just long press the PLAY button.
