Hi, how can I scan and use my music under Linux Mint 18 with LMS 7.9 (logitechmediaserver_7.9.0~1467729831_amd64.deb) or 7.7 or 7.8?
The music-library is on a ntfs-partition, crypted with VeraCrypt. It is mounted to a folder under /home. No problem to get there and to scan the same music-folder parallel with LMS under Windows 7. But LMS under Linux Mint 18 does not see the folder and so is a scan not possible. It's the same when I installed other versions of LMS. Maybe the rights aren't right for a LMS-scan. The music-library is available only for me as the only user (octal 700) and the rights cannot be changed. It may be the user "squeezeboxserver" beyond LMS fails due to the rights altough he is now member in the groups "veracrypt" and the group of the only user. Any ideas what to do?
