It's a Vortexbox yes? If so go into VB network settings and make sure the IP address is set to static (choose a suitable address) AND set DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. Cheap routers such as the technicolor thing have a DNS relay that is often a pice of poo. By setting 8.8.8.8 (Google DNS) you by pass it.
