Hi,

I am not totally sure if I should have done (or not) a reply to either
one of those posts (sorry I cannot post URI as this is my first post):

* 106166-Debian-Jessie-LMS-died

Anyway, LMS is not starting: multiple

in /var/log/syslog.

But before providing contextual information, I must say LMS was working
just fine using the 7.9 .deb as long as my machine has been using
Jessie.

Problems started after I upgraded to Stretch.

My hardware is a Raspberry2.

This machine was solely dedicated to LMS untill I had the bad idea to
add CUPS. I was needing the last version of hplip and therfore upgraded
to Stretch. So basically there is CUPS/HPLIP and LMS.

I tried to apt-get install the Perl modules listed as not loaded. This
means I

apt-get install libdbi-perl libyaml-libyaml-perl libev-perl
libcommon-sense-perl libxml-parser-perl libsub-name-perl libdigest-perl
libdigest-sha-perl libjson-xs-perl libtypes-serialiser-perl

(APT added a few dependencies).

After that the last line was saying:

> The following modules failed to load: DBI EV XML::Parser::Expat
> HTML::Parser JSON::XS Digest::SHA1 Sub::Name

Meaning that installing the Debian Perl packages solved at least the
YAML::XS not loaded.

Please let me know,
1- if you would need more information to get a better idea,
2- if you want I test something specific.

Anyway, thanks for reading up to there.

Any hint would be appreciated :)
