The funny thing about these discussions is that people immediately feel entitled to express judgments without knowing all the facts. I have bought most of the apps that I find useful and deserve to be paid, but being a linux user I give precedence to open-source software and support those whenever they exist as an alternative to closed source software. In this case Squeezer is open source, therefore in my opinion it is a better choice and I prefer to use it and support it over other apps. Also, as I said before, if the other (paid) apps offered a trial version I would have probably ended buying one of them, but since they don't, I'm not exploiting the refund system for two reasons: 1) because in the past I ended up not receiving any refund, which pissed me off and 2) because I don't think two hours is enough time to evaluate a software.
