If you mean on Windows, the Computer Management -> Storage -> Disk Management allows to map A: and B: in the same way as any other letter. I do have a A: drive too. Never had any problem using A: and B: for anything so far. Counting all my network shares, I'm almost out of letters, so I also have drives mapped to folders.
