Further troubleshooting: I keep a back-up copy of LMS on my main (work) computer (WiFi only). Generally, I do not leave that running. For testing purposes I started it up, and redirected one of my Touches to use it. Same issue - it jumped to the next track. This would seem to eliminate a purely server issue. Next I connected one of my Touches to the router with an Ethernet cable (and reconfigured the Touch). No problem - it played without jumping. Unfortunately this is not an option for a permanent solution. The Linksys software offers me a wide range of configuration choices (as does LMS) any ideas as to what might help? One thing I am looking at is a "Media Prioritization" panel. I can tell the router to prioritize the two Touches. As mentioned before, neither my Squeezebox Radio nor the iPeng Player on my iPhone has had this problem. One further comment: when playing Tidal (short tracks only) through the new router on my Touch yesterday afternoon, I did not have the problem. All of the above music is at lossless CD Quality. The tracks with the problems are Apple Lossless. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ john greenwood's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=41039 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106233 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
