If the player is squeezelite-R2 it will stream DOP or 'native' depending on the capability of the DAC. With XMOS on ALSA it will use speciific 'native' formats, that still are 'wrapped' dsd in pcm frames, but are much similar to ASIO/DSD formats than DOP (don't have marker in words but headers).
