Not saying this is the cause, but my experience with PLC (powerline) has
been constantly terrible over years. I have 4 places that have been
equipped with all generations, from 85Mbs to 2000Mbs and no brand has
ever showed good stability, at least as soon as you have more than 3
(sometimes 2) plugs. Worse has been when UDP frames are used, that's a
total disaster with regular "blackout" of a few seconds. I hate these
devices, but at least they forced me to test some of my plugins more
resilient to network temporary outages and lots of dropped frames :)
