I am having this exact same problem on a Qnap TS-219P+ and in this thread there is mention of a patch to fix the SSOTS, so as to allow the 7.9.0 to be installed but I have not been successful in finding this patch. Can someone direct me to where I can find this patch? Also if you have been successful in upgrading to 7.9.0 on this same model and can share with me the steps you went through to upgrade I would be very appreciative.
