Hi,
I have a really strange issue with LMS since a few weeks (or months or
so). I have LMS running on an Ubuntu server since quite a while.
Currently the server is running Ubuntu 16.10. I am not 100% sure, but
the time of update might be the same time the troubles did start. But it
might also be something else.
What I see is that LMS has no internet connection at all. Symptoms are
internet radio not working, streaming not working, plugins page in webui
takes a long time and prints an error that it can not connect to
"repos.squeezecommunity.org". I can see in the log this error message
for all tries to resolve something:

For some URLs I get a more specific error, like this one for the radio
stuff:

The system *can* resolve all those URLs fine. I even tried with the user
"squeezeboxserver" using sudo, just to be sure. I am really puzzled
here... nslookup works fine for those URLs, even ping and wget work.
I found some posts with similar issues... but most of them had real
network trouble on their systems or the OPs vanished without any hint of
a solution. Somewhere I found somebody who disabled IPv6 to get it
working which I also tried, but it did not help.
I even tried updating to the latest nightly... here is what the server
says on the information page about itself:
