Network problem could be but not for a double IP address. 1. is use static ip for both the pi and the XP machine 2. since I shutted down LMS on the XP machine everything is working fine while both are still on the network. One thing I noticed that the "old" SqueezeBoxes and the PiCorePlayers didn't have any problem. They just stayed visible in OrangeSqueeze and never missed a beat. It's just the radio and the touch that are dropping of the network. And yes, both of them wired, so no wifi connection issue. For me it is working now (no plans on resurrection of the other LMS) but I'm convinced there is something going on that is related to the radio and the touch hardware/firmware.
