The problem could've been when/if you shut down or reboot your pi, some players can automatically migrate and connect to another running LMS instance. If you have two (or more) instances of LMS running on the same network and both (all) have connected players, you will see all connected players in the drop down box. In the picture below, my Radio and a Rpi named study are connected to the server that I'm using at the moment.
