Had another look - this time focussing on when errors occur. 1. Everything is OK from 31-Jul 21:55 until 1-Aug 20:41 - just occassional retransmission. There are just Radio-LMS 2 or 3 sockets opened - occassionally link is reset. It would be interesting to know if LMS closed the socket on its side. 2. From packet 6235 (1-aug 20:42) - error rates jump dramatically - you can see many more TCP Retransmission but then escalation as link is reset [RST] and the link is closed down [FIN] many times. Then problems worsens with bursts of ICMP "Host unreachable" which means connection has broken down. In this phase many "POST" connection are made from player to LMS and I think these are the sockets left open.
Can you think of what could have changed after 1-Aug 20:41 as link seemed OK for about 24 hrs before that ? Did a device go into low power mode ? Did a "power" user start up somewhere on the Wifi ? Did a neighbours wifi turn on and cause interference to garden device but not strong enough to affect house users ?
