I have figured out how to mess LMS up and get it into a broken state.
Here's what I did:

- fresh install, everything is fine

- Assign a user and password in Advanced > Security. Server starts and
stops and works fine.

- Change "Block incoming connections" to "Block". The value in "Allowed
IP addresses is the default 192.168.0.101 (my IP address). Save. Stop
LMS. Start LMS. It is now broken.

Is it possible to disable this setting by mucking about on disc in the
saved versions of my settings/preferences files?
