That's too general to be true: it does keep track of playcounts, last
time played etc. There's code to set the rating, too. But it's probably
not called anywhere in the core code.
- TrackStat will "refresh" on startup / rescan (depending on
settings)
I guess that's the big missing point in LMS core: it doesn't really deal
with importing/sharing ratings with other applications?
In my experience, I had alwaays to restore the trackstat-infos after
changing the harddisks, but maybe I just missed that the ratings were
still there.
I have a different experience - I never had to restore, no even when
migrating to a new server (with the original library.db and persist.db
from the previous installation)
That should be true as long as your file paths don't change.
