Yes, you would just enter First Last and the date in the Albumsort tag. For example, David Bowie 1972a, would sort under D for David. I use iPeng daily and it does obey the same rules. The only issue you will run into is if you acquire another album of the same year as one you already have entered. You may have to adjust all of the albums from that year to have it sort properly. For artists that I care about, i have started looking up discographies to see if they have multiple releases in the same year and will sometimes skip a letter so that i can add it in later if I acquire that album. It's not that big of a deal to just change the letter after the year though and go through a rescan. I hope this helps!
