Following up with progress:
- changed to static addresses for all players (server already was). No difference. - explicitly set proxy streaming. I normally sync more than one player so this was already happening but I tried anyway. No help. Next plans: - install a clean server instance on a different platform to eliminiate it having something to do with my Linux-based server. - reflash my router to use Tomato instead of the Netgear default image to see if its related to it. It has been upgraded a few times of late due to security issues.
