Its a known issue with TrackStat plugin if you have a large database or
slow computer.
Disabling the Startup Refresh option in TrackStat settings page will
avoid it, there is also an Enable musicbrainz tags option that can be
disabled and sometimes improves the situation.
The purpose with the sync/refresh operation is to try to keep the
TrackStat tables in sync with standard LMS tables. Sync is needed
because pay count/last played logic differs a bit in LMS compared to
TrackStat when user skip tracks and LMS doesnt keep statistics if you
rename files.
To my defense, I would have implemented it differently if I knew what I
know today :-)
Unfortunately I dont have the time to fix it these days.
