Hi all, I have started to rip some of my music in flac as well as mp3. I have checked the option in LMS for *Hide lossy duplicates if lossless track is available*. I have had a few problems insofar as LMS sometimes still includes the mp3 after scanning. I eventually concluded that the tagging has to be idential between the 2 formats to always avoid this.
However, have one major issue. On one album so far the track length of approx 50% of the tracks is 1 second longer on mp3 than flac. The LENGTH tag is read only and LMS seems to interpret this as a different track and shows the mp3 as well as flac which is a bit of a pain. I tried to edit the track length in a binary editor and it still shows up in the tag edit as 1 second longer. Anybody got any ideas.
