The behavior is indeed rather inconsistent and weird. The Player has 'Album Artists', 'Artists' and 'All Artists' in the Additional Browser Modes. However, they don't necessarily appear when you enable their checkbox, as it also depends on what you have chosen as the Browse Artists option (the 1 vs 2 lists) under My Music. BTW, I do have that option enabled to list compilations under each artist. That does work fine for compilation albums, but these tracks really again only have 1 single ARTIST.
The problem persists that the 2nd, 3rd... artists never show up in the list, unless you chose the option with 2 lists and then the All Artists list actually also contain any other contributor role.
