These are not "normal" message which happen because of static IP or bad
wifi signal. Something is wrong at network level. TCP connection
squeezenetwork either doesn't work or breaks down mid communication. If
connection is "unreliable" - then TCP will have to do a lots of retires
- lots of retries means slow communications.
Start with the fundamentals.
1. What are the network & TCP statistics look like - depending on
whether you have lots of retries or timeout or resets - you can tell
which end is at fault.
2. Does the problem happen if there is only LMS server and a single SB
player live on the network - to eliminate rogue devices and confirm
problem, is with either LMS server and/or player and/or network
infrastructure.
3. Check player connection with SN and LMS disconnected from network -
check player can play internet radio station via SN without problems.
4. Check network configuration - if not using DHCP make sure MTU etc is
correct on all devices.
5. Check cables and sockets - if someone trips on a cable or devices
fall then socket/connection/cable may have been damaged.
