A tunnel with the place where your main LMS server can do the job. I used to do that between my two homes, I was using and ssh tunnel, the special thing to do on the LMS players is to manually enter the address of the LMS server. Its a bit of a technical setup, so if youre not confortable with that, a local pi with LMS would be better. Youll need one pi or a computer to do the tunnel anyway.
